Arizona-based Tracy Browner of Venezia Design & Finish is a versatile professional artist. She’s known for her wide-ranging talent and unique approach to design. For over twenty years, she has created artistic treatments for walls, furniture, and almost any indoor or outdoor surface.  While her passion and chief talent lie in the area of lush and varied treatments with Venetian plaster, Tracy has worked in the areas of custom fine art painting, faux finishes, gold and copper leaf, and mosaics throughout her career.Â
We’ve previously showcased one of her projects, a gorgeous modern zen finish on a powder bath featuring eye-catching Metallo Fuso ribbons along the walls. In this feature, we share an elegant headboard wall finished with both Marmorino KS and Fase Silossanica.
Stilley Tulloss Design Build Group contacted Tracy to execute a plaster headboard wall for one of their Flagstaff, Arizona homes. They were looking for a clean look, and the designer on the modern farmhouse project, Kimberly Parker Design, provided visual inspiration. As the home’s walls were painted off-white, the design followed clean and contemporary current trends, showcasing the natural stone and wood architectural details throughout. The plaster for the headboard wall, then, was to be white with a subtle beige smooth texture.
With a simple design like this, as an installer, you want to deliver the perfect surface. For Tracy, Marmorino KS was the instinctive and trusted choice for creating the silky-feeling lime plaster—silky to the physical touch and silky to the eye. Marmarino KS, with softly applied and wiped-back Fase Silossanica, performed superbly, to everyone’s expectations and approval.
