At NY-based Hendrick Fine Art Faux Creations, artistry and innovation have defined their work since 1984. From upscale businesses in New York’s SOHO neighborhood to luxurious mansions in Beverly Hills, their wall finishes and decorative artistry have graced spaces across the country. Now, this dynamic duo, Nancy and Bob Hendrick, are taking their craft to new heights with their Art of the Wall series, featuring Novacolor’s world-class Italian plasters.

Nancy Hendrick shares, “Novacolor is the varsity team in the world of Italian fine plasters. Constantly upgrading and enhancing the products makes Novacolor the cutting-edge company in the world of timeless finishes.”

Their expertise was recently showcased in a stunning transformation of the Nantuckets restaurant, owned by Rich Gertz, in the upscale coastal town of Port Jefferson, NY. Rich approached the Hendricks team with a vision to elevate his restaurant’s interior to attract a more refined clientele. The Hendricks quickly introduced him to the Novacolor line, sparking an exciting collaboration.

For the project, the team selected Animamundi for a contemporary mural wall, creating a striking focal point within the space.

To complement the dining area, they applied Marmorino KS, infusing the walls with a sophisticated texture and depth.

The results left Rich so impressed that the collaboration expanded. Below: applying the metallic plaster Dune to the ceilings and beyond, crafting an exterior mural featuring a new logo, utilizing Concrete by Novacolor and R-Stone.

This project isn’t just about transforming a single restaurant. It marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Hendricks as they introduce the Novacolor line to Long Island’s design market. Looking ahead to the new year, they’re planning architect and designer classes, as well as installer training, to share their expertise and inspire others with the possibilities of Novacolor.
