Drew & Beth, our expert instructors, are gearing up to share their knowledge and passion for this ancient technique on February 20 – 22 and March 19 – 21, 2024.

What to Expect:

This immersive three-day program is tailored for individuals who want to dive deep into the art of Venetian plasters. To ensure an enriching experience, we limit each class to just 5 students. Throughout the course, you’ll explore various aspects of Venetian plasters, including:

1. Tools and Troweling Techniques: Learn about the essential tools and master the art of troweling.
2. Wall Preparation: Understand the crucial steps in preparing walls for plaster application.
3. Lime vs. Acrylic Plasters: Discover the differences between Lime and Acrylic plasters and when to use each.
4. Signature and Troweling Technique: Develop your unique style and perfect your troweling technique.

From start to finish, you’ll get hands-on experience applying plasters, burnishing, and sealing or waxing a variety of plaster finishes. Some of the techniques and applications covered include:

• Novacolor Italia Florenzia: a luxe and glossy mineral plaster.
• Novacolor Italia Marmorino KS: a silky and matte lime-based plaster.
• Novacolor Italia Mirror: a high-gloss natural lime plaster.

Plus, as part of the program, you’ll receive Marmorino Tools, including a trowel and spatula. We also provide daily lunch and refreshments to keep your creative energy flowing.
